This is a study of Trans Atlantic airmails circa 1928-1940.  This study will encompass, rates, routes, crashes, destinations and origins.  The carriers being studied will be, Lufthansa, LATI, Air France along with CGA the parent company of Air France.  Along with these I will also be looking at PAA., Pan American Airways as they serviced Central and  some parts of South America during this period of time.  Reference material used within is, Deutsche Lufthansa South Atlantic Air Mail Service 1934-1939 by Graue and Duggan, The Italian South Atlantic Air Mail Service 1939-1941 by R. Beith, Bridging The Continents in Wartime, Hans E. Aitink and Egbert Hovenkamp. I would also like to give out a big Thank You to Dr. Andres Schlichter of Argentina along with Alec McGrattan of Scotland for whom this would not be possible without their mentoring and unselfish help.
